Terms of use

What this publication is, what it is not, and the rules for using it.

These terms cover your use of leaderstowatch.com. By reading the site, you accept them. Last updated 21 August 2026.

What this site is

Leaders to Watch is an independent publication. It publishes journalism and commentary about business leaders and the organisations they run, based on public sources that we name on the page.

It is free to read. There is no account to create and nothing to buy.

Nothing here is advice

Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal, tax or professional advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security.

We write about listed companies, share prices, appointments and corporate restructuring. We do that as journalists reporting and interpreting events, not as advisers. Do not make a financial, commercial or employment decision based on anything you read here. Take advice from someone qualified to give it.

Accuracy

Every factual claim carries a named, dated source, and we check that a person’s role is current before publishing. That is the standard we work to.

It is not a guarantee. Sources can be wrong, facts change after publication, and pages are not continuously updated. The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Opinion is opinion

This publication makes calls. Saying somebody is worth watching is an opinion, and so is our reading of why a decision was made or whether a strategy will work.

Those passages are honest comment on matters of public interest, made in good faith and based on facts we state and source on the same page. They are not statements of fact about anyone’s character or conduct. Where we report a fact, we source it. Where we form a view, it is a view, and you are free to disagree.

If we have got something wrong

Tell us and we will look at it. We would rather fix an error than defend one.

Email hello@leaderstowatch.com with the page, the passage, and what you say is wrong. If you are the subject of a piece, please use this route first. It is faster than anything else available to you.

Copyright

The writing, headlines, artwork, the name Leaders to Watch and the design belong to us or are used with permission. Photographs of individuals are credited on the page and remain the property of whoever owns them.

You may read it, link to it, and quote a short extract for review, criticism, reporting or teaching, as long as you name Leaders to Watch and link to the page you took it from.

You may not republish a whole piece or a substantial part of one, sell it, put it behind your own paywall, or present it as your own.

Crawlers and AI

Automated access is governed by our robots.txt, which is the authoritative statement of what crawlers may do here.

Search engines and answer engines are welcome. We want to be read and quoted, and a citation inside an answer counts as being read, so we allow the major crawlers on purpose. That permission covers crawling, indexing and quoting us with attribution and a working link.

It does not cover bulk extraction, wholesale copying, or reproducing our work at length so that nobody needs to read it. Scraping that degrades the site for other people is not allowed.

If you send us something

If you email us or submit a form, you confirm you are entitled to send what you send and that it is accurate as far as you know.

You give us permission to use it in our editorial work, including to research, publish, or decline to publish. We treat it as non-confidential unless we agree otherwise in writing. We are not obliged to publish anything, to explain a decision, or to reply. A nomination is not a promise of coverage, and it never buys one.

Links to other sites

We link out constantly, because showing our sources is the point. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or accuracy, and a link is not an endorsement.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, opportunity, data or reputation, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to one thousand rupees.

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

Please do not try to break into the site, interfere with how it runs, or use it to do something unlawful.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

The Watchlist · fortnightly

One email every two weeks. The people worth watching, and the evidence for why.
